Nature of the service
BVS By Marilyn (Best Visa Services) is an immigration advisory service operated by Marilyn Medina, based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We offer guidance and assistance: preparing and completing forms such as the DS-160, organizing documents, and coordinating appointments.
We are not attorneys
BVS By Marilyn is not a law firm and Marilyn is not an attorney. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation. Marilyn is an immigration advisor. If you need legal representation, you should consult an attorney.
We do not guarantee results
The approval or denial of a visa, appointment, or any immigration benefit depends solely on the competent authorities, for example the Embassy of the United States or another consular or immigration authority. BVS By Marilyn does not control or influence those decisions and does not guarantee any outcome.
Accuracy of information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information and documents you provide. Providing false or misleading information may result in the denial of your application and in consequences before the authorities. We will not complete information we know to be false.
Refund policy
There are no refunds once BVS By Marilyn has started working on your case. Work may begin immediately after your payment, for example by scheduling your consular appointment, completing your form, or organizing your file. Because that work is performed and uses resources from the very first moment, payments are non-refundable once work has started. Any exception is at the sole discretion of BVS By Marilyn.
Your responsibilities
Provide truthful documents and information on time, attend your appointments, and respond to our communications. Delay or lack of cooperation may affect your process.
Confidentiality and personal data
We handle your information confidentially and in accordance with Dominican Republic Law 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data. We use your data only to manage your request and your case, we do not sell it, and you may request access, correction, or deletion by writing to us through our contact channels.
Limitation of liability
BVS By Marilyn will not be liable for the decisions of immigration authorities, for changes in immigration policies or requirements, or for consequences arising from inaccurate information provided by you.
Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
